Week In a Peek
Ms. Cindy, Ms. Cathy, Ms. Heather and Ms. Amanda
It may be messy, but it sure is fun! Oliver practiced writing his name in the shaving cream.
Macee wasn't so sure about it on her fingers!
Destin just wanted to spread the shaving cream EVERYWHERE!
We decided that next week we would start studying pets. This led to a discussion of what we already know about pets and what we wanted to know about pets. We decided that snakes, lizards, cats, dogs, and rabbits can all be pets. One student asked if an elephant could be a pet. We will be investigating how to take care of pets and reading lots of books about pets! If you would like to send in pictures of your family pets, please do so! You can email them or send in pictures. Thanks for your help!
Brynn is practicing fine motor skills and one-to-one correspondence. We have a lot of Montessori style work trays for the children to choose from.
Presley is using another type of Montessori work. She is sorting objects. She grouped the birds together, the musical instruments together, and the baby objects together.
Some of our work gets a little messy, so Zaiyan is cleaning up after herself.
