Letter From Mrs. Peoples, Assistant Principal
Spicewood Panthers,
GREAT JOB on earning over 500 RAOK during your Raise Craze fundraiser! I am so proud of the kindness you spread in our community. To celebrate you reaching your goal, I will be dressing up in a costume of YOUR choice for a WHOLE DAY!
Please select the costume that you would like to see Ms. Peoples in on November 20th by using this form!
Virtual students, keep an eye out for silly pictures in Mrs. Allen's newsletter on November 20th!
Love,
Ms. Peoples
Book Fair
Our Scholastic Book Fair is here! You can start making your selections by visiting the library book fair website. PLEASE make sure to watch this video and read the directions before you begin. You will need to set up an eWallet to purchase your books and the directions can be found on the library book fair website, as well. You will be able to purchase books until Nov. 27. Remember, this is a great opportunity to buy gifts and to select a book for your teacher's classroom, if you so desire.
We will begin delivering books to students in-school on Nov. 16 as well as providing Curbside Pick Up starting on that same day! In-school delivery and Curbside Pickup will be available the entire week of Nov. 16 AND Nov. 30. An email will be sent when your books are ready, as well our extended curbside hours.
Thank you for always being such amazing supporters of our library and our family at Spicewood Elementary school!
Choice Workshop Round 3
Spicewood Elementary is hosting a weekly Choice Workshop for students on Fridays. Each Friday during your child’s designated special’s time (both in person and virtual), students will choose one option from the Choice Workshop choice board in their Friday Schoology folder. This workshop will be a 30 minute long recorded video, and gives students the opportunity to dive into their current interests and discover new talents they may have! A new round of workshops will be offered every 3 weeks. Below are the Choice Workshop options and materials your child will need to participate. Please share these options with your child, and collect the materials needed. If your child is an in-person learner, please send the needed materials with your child on Friday morning. If you have any questions, please contact Jessica Oates and Alexandra Peoples.
