Smiling Faces!
This week has been so great! Whether we got to see our kids through the computer or in-person, we still got to see and talk to them! We are once again reminded of our purpose and that when we focus on kids we can do anything. Thank you for sharing your children with us. We have missed them!

In-Person Assessments on Monday and Tuesday
If your child is attending school in-person in grades K-3, they should be signed up for an assessment spot on either Monday or Tuesday. All students should enter through the front door on these days for health screenings. Parents are asked to wait in their car or outside. Assessments should take approximately 20 minutes. When your student is not attending an assessment, they will still have remote activities to complete. There will not be live instruction on these days.

Picture Day
We are so excited that we will still be able to hold a Picture Day for students this year! Our photographer has planned a drive-up picture day (don't worry pictures will be outside and not in your car). Look for an email from the office to sign-up for your preferred time.

Students with Medication
Many students have medication that needs to be kept in the health room for the upcoming school year. We would like to ask you to please drop this off anytime next week between 8:30 and 1. Ring the doorbell and our health para will meet you outside to get the medication. Please make sure that all medication is in the original container with the prescription label attached. Also, make sure to bring a current copy of the medication agreement form. I have attached the forms below.
Form for Allergy Medications
Form for Asthma Medications
Form for all other medications

We're Having Trouble With Our iPad
It has come to our attention that Apple pushed out an update for some versions of iPads. If your student is having trouble getting their iPad to connect, it is likely that it needs this update. Unfortunately, the update can only be done when connected to the school server. So, we have a couple of possible solutions.
- Students can bring their device with them to testing on Monday or Tuesday and we will help make sure the updates are installed
- You can take a trip over to Stott to do the update yourself. You don't have to enter the building, just sit outside close to the building. Here are the directions if you choose that route:
1. Make sure your iPad is completely charged.
2. Come to Stott and sit by the front doors of the building
3. Tap on the Settings app on the home screen
4. Make sure that the wi-fi says "Jeffco Internal"
5. Tap on the General tab on the left hand side of the screen
6. Tap on Software Update
7. Tap on Update
8. It will say "Preparing Update"
9. When prompted, tap on Install now
10. After everything is installed, turn the iPad off and back on again and make sure it connects one more time to the school network.
