Featured Club: Builder's Club
Builder's Club is associated with the Cabot Kiwanis Club. It's mission to make a difference within our community and school, one charity organization and one student at a time. Club members work to raise awareness and donations to support organizations, such as Arkansas Children's Hospital, Keep the Faith Foundation, local animal shelters, Cabot Christmas Alliance, and UNICEF Clean Water Project. Students also work on several community projects, such as Cabot Clean-Up, Earth Day projects, and food drives for Hope's Closet and local churches.
Say "Go College!" Week
Each day this week, a college factoid/quiz question will be presented with announcements. Advisory classes can turn in answers (one per class) to the counseling center mailbox and a drawing will be held each day from the correct answers to win a prize for their class.
To celebrate, please wear your favorite college gear this week! On Thursday, wear your favorite hat in support of "Hats off to College" day.
6th Grade Musical
Welcome to KYDZ, the radio station that plays the hits while you sing along! Meet disc jockey Marvelous Mike and sidekick Jivin' Judy as they play the oldies, the goodies and all the songs kids have loved throughout the years. From the Depression and WWII to Elvis, the Beatles and disco, the radio is where America hears the songs that become the soundtracks of their lives.

One Book One School
We are excited to introduce our new One Book, One School book for the second semester! Our new book is Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix and it is the first book in the Shadow Children Series. This fiction book is jam-packed with mystery and suspense with a futuristic twist leaving readers with a constant question in their minds, “what would I do in this situation?”
Each advisory teacher will read several chapters from the book to the class each Friday. We will have trivia questions and prizes. Students will have the opportunity to win their own copy of the book AND even have the chance to win the GRAND PRIZE: The complete seven book set of the Shadow Children Series! Copies of the first three books will be on sale in the book store.
