PSJA Southwest Welcomes the Chinese New Year!
On Feb. 13, 2018 students and faculty created a beautiful setting where students and their families could learn about and embrace the Chinese culture. In the library, guests could make their own Chinese lantern, taste various teas, get their name done in Chinese calligraphy, listen to some presentations and view some original Chinese artifacts. (For more pictures, click on the link above.) If you want to try something new this year, how about learning Chinese? Stop by the library for your Chinese Brain Pop username & password.

"Blind Date with a Book" 2018
Once again, students had fun with our annual "Blind Date With a Book" activity, where students checked out new books wrapped in Valentine's Day decor and read whichever book they picked. After reading their books, students met to have a "tell-all" on their books and many were pleasantly surprised to find out they enjoyed reading books outside of their favorite genre. Click on the Blind Date link above to check out the Animoto video I created.
