Do not ask your child to wait to be picked up at the middle school entrance, even if they have a sibling at the middle school. This is for their own safety. There is no one there to watch them since CMS dismisses later than we do. Our elementary students are also causing a distraction for CMS students and staff who are still in class. Students who are at school passed 2:45 pm must go to short term after-school care in the cafeteria. Thank you for your cooperation!

Our 5th graders must choose from a list to read this summer if they are entering 6th grade in Huntsville City Schools next year. More information is available here: http://2016summerreading.weebly.com/middle-school.html

There is also a required project to be completed on the book they choose. Information on the projects is available here: http://2016summerreading.weebly.com/middle-school-projects.html

ALL honors English students also must read Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. (That list is here: http://2016summerreading.weebly.com/honorsap-courses.html)
