CTAE Gazette
Paulding County School District
Volume 2, Issue 5 - December 2015
I would like to extend my warm wishes for Christmas and would also like to thank you all for being a part of Paulding County School District CTAE Department. I truly appreciate your hard work and dedication during the first semester of this school year. It is a pleasure for me to share our past year achievements with you all. The county showed significant growth in our EOPAs, added new programs to our High Schools, expanded the possibilities for students to experience real life situations whether in class, or through Work Based Learning, continued to strengthen programs, in both, Middle Schools and High Schools. All this happened because of your hard work and dedication to your students. I feel blessed to be able to share our work with you all.
I, once again, would like to express my gratitude towards you all and wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a great Holidays.
Yours Sincerely,
Marores Perry

EPHS DECA
DECA is an international organization that prepares emerging leaders and
entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. DECA allows its
members to become more active around their school and community. It also gives it
members real world experience that will further aid them in their chosen careers. East
Paulding High School proudly encourages student participation in this remarkable
organization.
Every year Georgia DECA chooses a community service project; this year they
chose The Wounded Warrior Project. The Wounded Warrior Project is a charity and
veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, service, and events for
wounded veterans. The brave men and women that selflessly fight for our country are
held near and dear to America’s heart; needless to say, East Paulding DECA was eager
to fulfill the community service projects.
To raise money, we decided to raffle off a YETI cooler which was generously
donated to us by R.A.K Roofing & Construction. We sold each ticket for $5, and in doing
so, we raised $1640!
