The Spencer Scoop
Spencer Elementary - May 29, 2020
Hello Spencer Families,
Well, this is it, the end of a year, none of us will ever forget. It was full of ups and downs to the most bizarre finish of the school year I have ever had.
I understand there are a lot of what if's, what about, and what will we do type of questions out there. I'm right there with you as we make multiple plans with the hopes that one will be close. We will share with you the plans as they emerge, as we receive more guidance and clarification from the state and the CDC.
What I do know is, we have a plan for you to pick-up your child's belongings. The idea is currently under review and, when approved, will be shared in full detail with you on Tuesday via email.
Enjoy next week as the teachers are doing some fun end-of-the-year activities via Google Meet and their online platforms.
Stay safe, and I'll be in touch Tuesday,
B. Renner

We have a list and will make sure you get yours even if your child is headed to Maltby.

Message from Spencer PTO
***PTO Bottle Drive****
Please consider saving your returnables to support the Spencer PTO in a bottle drive. You probably have a huge pile of returnables collecting dust in your garage. Let's make up some of the lost income from auction by teaming together to turn our bottles and cans into dollars for Spencer! When bottle returns are open again and it's safe to do so, we can assemble a team of volunteers to return the cans. We'll post more details when we know more. In the meantime, keep saving those returnables! Thank you!
Dear Future Maltby Bullpups!
Since you were not able to visit us this June due to the current circumstances, we have prepared a virtual tour of Maltby Intermediate School!
Maltby Co-Principal, Mr. Aten, and Maltby Counselor, Mrs. Anderson, have taken the time to create this virtual tour to help you get familiar with the building. We hope you enjoy it! We are very excited to welcome you to Maltby next year!
Sincerely,
Mr. Brenner, Mr. Aten, and Mrs. Anderson
