130 Years to Celebrate

Did you know that 2014 is St. Thomas Public Library's 130th Anniversary? Imagine that! After much digging in our dusty archives, we have a copy of a handwritten bylaw that City Council passed in 1884, stating that a free library would be established January 1885.

Read our current list of reasons to celebrate on our Pinterest Board.

Our Teen Advisory Board volunteers are a tremendous asset to the library community. They help with programs, such as our Culture Days - Flag Face Painting event and the Haunted Library. TAB members improve the teen collection, decorate the library, and set an example for other youth in the library. These teens work hard to make a positive impact on this community, and we're grateful that we can offer them a safe, encouraging, respectful, and positive outlet to do so. Thank you, Teens!
