From the Principal's Desk!!
- We are all excited for the last week before the "Thanksgiving Break".
- We are so glad, children are enjoying school and we as a community have been safe through this pandemic, thank you parents for being responsible and supportive in keeping our children safe!!
- Teachers are working hard to provide the best, challenging students to higher levels, while helping children in need with additional intervention & tutoring, please reach out to your teachers, if your child needs additional help.
- Thanksgiving break is from November 23-27 "There is excitement and Joy"
- We are excited to announce open enrollment for 2021-2022 starting in Dec, especially the start of the high school program ( we are considering 9th & 10th grades with dual credit offerings) please share, invite family and friends.
- Please review the information posted below about the 2022 trip to Washington D.C (Please note they are both in (Spanish & English)

Coach K and Coach Bookman continues to teach players the skills they need to succeed in basketball!
Honoring Our Nation's Veterans
Mrs. Cooper provided a wonderful Veteran's Day speech on November 11, as students gathered at assembly to honor all who have served and fought for our freedom.
Winter Fine Arts Concert
Mr. Herridge's Winter Arts Concert is upcoming in December!
Middle School
Ms. Hatfield's English Class
Students submitted two projects last week. Pictures is a group project over Edgar Allan Poe!
Mr. McGregor's History Class
Students enjoyed using critical thinking skills to complete an escape room.
Mr. Frasher's Science Class
8th grade is designing roller coasters to demonstrate their knowledge of Newton's Laws. We are still in building and testing phase, should be demonstrating to the class early next week

Don't forget Scholastic book orders for November and December are open! I will be submitting an order next Friday 11/20 and another order on 12/3 for anyone who wants to get some holiday or regular books.
