What we are learning about in 4th Quarter!
In Math we are working on multiplication and division. We have moved into long division. Some of us are ready to work with remainders. We will be working with story problems involving both division and multiplication as well. After that we will be looking at real world measurement problems.
Keep practicing multiplication flash cards. The kids have until May 20th to pass through the 9's for the banana split party! Each fact family they pass has earned them a part of the banana split.
In Reading we are working with Making Predictions. We have 2 units left followed by our End of the Year reading Test.
We will spend a few days talking about Government and then we will move into Space. Each kid will be working on some research of a topic of choice for space. As a conclusion to our Space research, we will be building rockets to launch in the last few weeks of school.
Mrs. Jenzen's Maternity Leave
Mrs. Dollerschell will be finishing the school year with our class. She is blessed with a GREAT group of kids! We have a lot of fun things planned for the end of the school year and I am hoping to join in for the end of the year picnic with baby in tow!
If you have any questions about this transition, please let me know. I will try to answer your questions to the best of my ability.
During the time I am gone, please keep using my email to reach Mrs. Dollerschell. She will have access to my account and be able to communicate with you that way.
