Summer Learning Opportunity
Round Rock ISD is committed to providing our students and families resources to support engagement in learning throughout the summer months. We are calling this program, the Instructional Continuity: Summer Edition and it will be available to all students and caretakers starting on June 1st. The program integrates Texas Education Agency-created At-Home Learning packets with RRISD instructional videos. Members of the RRISD team will also be providing support at scheduled times throughout the summer to answer questions and provide clarification as students and caretakers engage with the learning.
Students and parents will have access to the entire summer’s curriculum on June 1st and RRISD will be providing a paper copy of the TEA-created At-Home Learning packet to any student who would like one. A paper copy is not required as everything a student needs will be available digitally as well. Please click here to access the resources and information on our website.
Students will be asked to complete a weekly knowledge check and students completing at least four of the eight knowledge checks will be eligible for prizes and recognition throughout the summer.
To request a paper copy of the At-Home Learning packet and to sign up to stay up-to-date with announcements about this program, complete this form: Summer At-Home Learning Packet Order Form (updated link)

A Note From Mrs. Oates
Exhibition is, "the culminating, collaborative experience in the final year of the PYP." Students use the skills and knowledge they've learned throughout their time at the PYP school to explore, document and share their understanding of an issue. The inquiry process is student-initiated, but utilizes the whole learning community to support the students through the process as needed. Our 5th Graders this year overcame challenges and reflected really what it means to be an IB learner. We can't say enough how proud we are of the action they took and are continuing to take to make a difference in our community both locally and globally!
