School Hours for the 2022- 2023 School Year
We have received confirmation that our school hours for NEXT school year will once again be 9:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Friday, 5/20 - C Day
Field Day is Coming Soon!
We are so excited for Field Day on May 26! Here are a few things you should know about the day.
1. Each grade is wearing a specific color t-shirt.
- KIndergarten -white shirts
- 1st grade - green shirts
- 2nd grade - making tie dye shirts
- 3rd grade - gray shirts
- 4th grade - blue shirts
2. Students should:
- bring a water bottle
- bring a towel to sit on for lunch
- bring a disposable lunch
- put sunscreen on before they come to school
- wear their running shoes
3. Parent volunteers are welcome. Please visit this sign up to volunteer.
LOST AND FOUND
We accumulate many lost and found items. Please review the following pictures for any items that may belong to your child.
- If you see an item that belongs to your child, please remind them to claim that item from our lost and found rack, located just outside our cafeteria, during their lunch. They can notify any staff member in the cafeteria that they need to claim their item.
- If your child forgets, you can email their teacher to ask for help reminding the student.
- Any items remaining at the end of the year will be donated.

To Parents/Guardians,
We invite you to attend “Help Night”, an outdoor event organized by Symmes Ambassadors to provide information about the school and answer any questions you may have. Some translators will be available. If you need an interpreter, please email SYAmbassadors@SycamoreSchools.org to request one.

WHERE: Symmes Elementary Side/Gym Parking Lot
WHAT: Help Night is our “Symmes 101” for parents and kids alike.
You may:
Learn about summer school.
Hear about summer camps, sports teams offered in our school area.
Get help with half-day kindergarten or preschool registration.
Have assistance filling out tuition aid or free and reduced meal forms.
Have a resource person help you log into the Parent Portal, Final Forms, or Blackboard. There will be Chromebooks and internet access available. Feel free to bring your own device!
Ask questions about school, the community, and local resources.
Order school supply kits.
Get support in another language.
Learn more about: MAP testing, gifted service, GEAR
Connect with other students and parents.
WHO will be there?
A nurse will be available to answer your medical questions (immunizations, medications, COVID, etc.).
