Tiger Tidbits 2.0

December 17, 2016 Volume 9 Issue 16

Teamwork really does make the dream work!

Spelling Bee: Thank you Mr. Aguirre, Mrs. Malone, Ms. Lup, Ms. Shepherd, and Mr. Seefeldt for hosting the monolingual spelling bee and Ms. Rodriguez, Ms. Gonzalez, Mr. Harris, and Mr. Perez for hosting the bilingual spelling! Everyone who helped out and all the participants willing to take a chance, made this an event to remember!
Celebrate with Music: Mrs. Hensley and Ms. Thomas outdid themselves with this year's holiday performance! Thank you for all of your hard work and for making the holidays brighter!
Big Kahuna Party Bus: Our top selling students enjoyed a trip to CiCi's on the Big Kahuna Party Bus! Thank you Mrs. Ross, Mrs. Pritchard, Ms. Shepherd and Mr. Aguirre for chaperoning our kids on this awesome adventure!

Hour of Code: Students in Shepherd and Felber, with the help of Mrs. Kidson, have already participated in an Hour of Code! Coding is about writing instructions that computers can understand; it’s how we can create programs that do everything from play games to drive cars. The Hour of Code gives students an opportunity to practice thinking like a computer scientist. Look for more information about the Hour of Code in January!

We would like to welcome Ms. Tamara Nincehelser to the McStrick Team!! She is our new Kindergarten teacher and we could not be more excited to have her!
