Perkiomen Valley Athletics
Week of Feb 20
Winter Sports
I feel one of the best parts of high school athletics is the memories that are created for your team, school, and community. On Wednesday night, our girls' basketball team created one of those memories when they defeated Spring-Ford in dominating fashion 51-26 to win the PAC Championship! Congratulations to Coach Russo and the girls on this great accomplishment. The team looks to continue their success as they begin District 1 play tomorrow at 7pm when they face CB East here at PV. Congratulations to Ella Dittmar on qualifying for the District 1 swim championships at the York YMCA on Friday at 10:30am. Ella will be competing in the 200 IM. Congratulations to Ian Johnson, Emerson Whetstone, Lily Tremba, Abrielle Schweitzer, Sienna Miller, and Mackenzie Owens on qualifying for the Indoor State Track and Field Championships to be held at Penn State University this Sunday. Good luck! I also want to wish the best to our wrestlers who will be competing in the District 1 Individual Wrestling Championships on Saturday. This event will be held at PV and the wrestling will start at 8:30am. Lastly, our boys' basketball team will start District 1 play tonight as we host Upper Darby at 7pm. Good luck to all of our teams and athletes as we look to create more memories!
One last note, Spring Sports registrations are due today so please see the information below and make sure you are registered!
Sincerely,
