Also, for those of you that would like some support on ways to use your iMSSA data, you can access the recording of the PD below. This PD was offered back in February and it goes over ways to use the reports and data you get from iMSSA. Please let me know if you have any questions as you move forward in driving your instruction with iMSSA data.
The Great (iMSSA) Data Dig by Carrie Rowe (34 minutes)
CFA Resource Folder
⭐CFAs will drive instruction. CFAs are not as often as checkpoints were, so you have other ways for your team to formally and informally assess standards along the way, including:
- 3-8 Cognia sets
- Exit tickets
- Illuminate Cluster quizzes
- Performance Tasks (self created or Illuminate also has some)
- Curriculum based embedded assessments
🛑CFA’s may not cover EVERY standard in order to be reasonable in length. We need to make sure we are tracking the standards that we know are priority and heavily weighed. Using all of our data points to check for that mastery, or lack thereof, makes our data even more valuable.
