Shred Outdated Papers
-bank statements, credit card offers, or any other financial documents
Computer Saftey
-utilize firewalls and virus protection software
Secure Your Records
-don't provide information to people you don't know
-only carry identification cards and necessary documents
-leave unnecessary documents in a safe place
Indicators of Credit Theft
-errors on your credit card statement
-errors on your credit report
-your account is flagged
-debt collection agencies are calling
-problems with your medical insurance
-missing mail or opened envelopes
-denial of an application based off of credit
