Director's Update:
Greetings CHS Choir Families,
Happy Earth Day!
Thank you so much to Andrew Busyakum, Anna Culver, Jacob Her, Moriah Parent, Hannah Powell, and Jeremiah Quinteros for singing at Tuality Community Hospital donation banquet last Thursday! Shout out to Jeannette Culver and Jennifer Parent for driving the students to and from the event!
This week we are making phone calls for the Hillsboro School Foundation phone-a-thon. Please use the link provided below to make an online pledge and mention CHS choir so we get credit. I need two more callers to have a complete team. Our superintendent, Mike Scott, is purchasing pizza. Light snacks and water bottles will also be provided. We also need help transporting students from CHS to the admin center. Please e-mail me if you are available to assist us tomorrow with the phone-a-thon. We will meet at CHS Choir room at 6:00 p.m. For fun, let's wear this year's choir shirts.
This Friday Markus Cadiz, Jacob Her, and Jeremiah Quinteros are representing CHS at Oregon Music Education Association (OMEA) State Solo and Ensemble competition. The competition is located at Pacific University and the trio will compete at 11:50 a.m. We wish these guys all the very best on Friday at State!
Have a great week JAGS!!!
Sincerely,
Mary Kay Babcock

Century Choirs will work on Monday, April 23rd 6:30-9:00 p.m.
- Students that volunteer to call will be required to attend phone-a-thon training that will be offered at Century High School
- Our department will be responsible to bring 10 callers
- We will be responsible and arrive ON TIME and stay for our full shift

- Incentive for individual callers - gift cards, etc.
- HSF has awarded over $157,000 in Phone-a-thon grants and more than $3.8 million in innovative education grants for our community's students in just sixteen years.
Our job is to:
- Call alums, family members, and neighbors!
- Request tax-deductible donation for the event.
- Share the link to donate securely and instantly on-line.
