A school record 31 Vikings were also State Qualifiers this fall. The fall season also saw many of our programs ranked at the local, state and national level. Students, Staff & Parents Encouraged To Take Part In #VikingThanks
November is finally here! Even though Thanksgiving is not until the end of the month we would like to fill the entire month full of #VIKINGTHANKS at Howell. Over the course of the next 30 days we invite everyone in our Howell community to take the time to thank at least one person each day that makes Howell such a great place to be. It can be a student, staff member, parent, volunteer, community member or business. We would love to see and share these #VIKINGTHANKS through social media as well. On Twitter you can use #VIKINGTHANKS each day to share the many people you are thankful for. Each day the @FHVikings Twitter account will also be posting a video from one of our Student Leadership Council members thanking someone in our Howell family. We encourage others to create a short video or take a selfie with those in our Howell family that you are thankful for and share it using #VIKINGTHANKS. Each Friday during the month of November we will draw a winner from Twitter that has used the #VIKINGTHANKS hashtag. We hope you will join us and encourage others during the month of November to thank and recognize the many great people who make Howell a great place to be!

Fitzpatrick Honored As Guest Clinicial for District Honor Choir
Last weekend our very own Howell Choir director Karey Fitzpatrick was a guest clinician for the Northwest Missouri District Honor Choir. Mrs. Fitzpatrick rehearsed with the 184 students for 7 hours on Saturday before they performed for an audience of the students’ parents and family members. Congratulations to Mrs. Fitzpatrick on this honor and for representing Howell at the State level.
Cast & Crew Of "The Crucible" Draws Rave Reviews
Congratulations to the Cast and Crew of The Crucible for their very successful run this weekend of "The Crucible." The Howell Limelight Theatre production ran from November 2nd to November 4th.
Both Friday and Saturday night crowds were singing praises of the quality acting from Limelight Theatre actors. Newcomers, Senior Joey Montgomery as John Proctor,
Senior Bryce Thornton as Reverend Hale and Freshman Bianca Rai as Tituba all turned in strong performances. Returning Limelight Cast member, Senior Nick Brock as Judge Danforth and Junior Kennedy Lindauer as Abigail Williams did not fail to disappoint with their outstanding performances as well. Senior, Shayna Crosby, normally a Lead Crew Member for Sound, surprised fellow Limelight Theatre members with her great portrayal of Mary Proctor.
Several audience members commented on how much the costumes added to the
show as well as the fantastic set design led by Technical Director Danielle Crosno and
Paint Crew Lead, Senior Lauren Fennewald.
Congratulations to all of the Cast and Crews involved in making The Crucible a great success!
If you have not had a chance to see The Crucible, please plan to take in our Matinee
