Hello Manning Parents,

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Our students had a great time at our Fall Fest Dance on Friday night. Many thanks go out to Shawna Mendez for organizing a great event for students. Thanks to all the staff members who chaperoned the dance as well. It was awesome to see our students enjoying an event like this one.

The Chili Cookoff was a big success as well! Thank you to our awesome PTA for setting up the Fall Fest for the Manning community. Thanks to all the parents for participating and making this event a great one! We want to thank: Jessi Linebarger, Ophelia McKenzie, Sage Crowe, Judy Lancy, Kris Kraft, Kari Fragnoli, Laura Warren and Stephanie Helmer, Janine Logar and Ali Nicholson, for all their work on the Fall Fest and Chili Cookoff!

Fall Fest | We had over 200 Manning families attend the event to sample chili, bid on the auction and mingle with friends, old and new. The elusive “chili master 16” took home the crown with his green chili recipe and Miss Mendez’s Access Class came out on top with a whooping $706 brought in for their baskets! What a great way to kick-off Halloween weekend! Please remember to pick-up (and pay) for your auction winnings! Payment instructions were sent from 32auctions and pick-up windows are Tuesday-Thursday (times above).

Reflections Art Competition | The Reflections program deadline is approaching. This year’s theme is Show Your Voice and we’re excited to see how many Manning students will enter the competition. Categories include dance, short film, a poem or story, an original song, a photo or visual work of art. Visit the website for all competition specifics.
