The EXCEL Echo: Holiday Edition

The EXCEL Echo is a student driven online magazine that highlights monthly happenings at D-B EXCEL. Students work within a small editorial team to create updates, exposes, and reviews, and anything else the team deems relevant and newsworthy. Combined with photographs, monthly puzzles, and whatever the staff finds edible for the readers, the Echo is proving to be a fun new way to host a journalism course in the digital age.

Textbooks, lunches, housing and extra-curricular activities will be provided to students. This summer program will be limited to 80 applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. A wide variety of classes in STEM will be offered to meet the need of each student, officials said.

Led by highly trained STEM instructors, job shadowing, mentoring and special projects guided by all supporting organizations, robotics, 3D printing, hands-on/minds-on projects, communication and teamwork, problem solving, and much much more.
