Ship's Log

Week of November 26, 2018

We will begin the week with a Prayer Service again in the gym at 9:00

SECRET SANTA- All staff are invited to participate in our annual Secret Santa fun... forms are in your mailboxes- please fill out and return to Marian before November 28th!

We need to get ready for ADVENT! It's my favorite time of the year- except that it gets busy, busy, busy! I love when we pray together and light the Advent Candles, this year we will pray together on Wednesday mornings at 9:00 in the gym

Our students also love having RUDY- our Elf on the Shelf visit... Rudy will return next Monday, December 3rd- This will be a 'family' affair... If Rudy ends up in your room- it's your task to move Rudy to another classroom or common area the next morning (before students arrive)! Start your creative juices flowing now! Rudy will travel with a list to track where he's been along with some of his supplies! Feel free to include a class treat like kisses and candy canes! Thank you for playing along :)

It's time to decorate the school too! All help and ideas are welcome! Let's show some Christmas Spirit!

Preschool Update!

Stephanie's last day with us will be on Thursday. We wish her well at her new job at Fisher Hill. We will welcome Emily Graves (you may remember her doing a practicum with Michelle, and she's Deacon Jim's daughter) as the new preschool Teacher- she will begin on December 17th working with Amy and Joanne and then Emily will take over the classroom as teacher on January 2nd. I know you will all welcome Emily and help make this a smooth transition in preschool.
