Next week, we will continue to apply strategies from addition to subtraction. Please review the math journal and homework each night. We will also take the ITBS which is an achievement test. Please make sure that your student is here daily and eats a good breakfast each morning.
Please tell your students to clean out math folders by removing any work that has been graded or checked. Those papers will have been marked with marker. Some papers are in the process of being completed and should only have pencil markings on them. If you are cleaning out folders, please ask your student about a sheet if it isn't clear about what to do with it before throwing it out. Thanks so much.
Have a great weekend.

Next week, we will continue with place value and will begin comparing numbers with decimals. We will also solve word problems weekly. Please make sure to review multiplication and division basic facts daily. You can go on eClass to play multiplication and division games.
We will also take the ITBS which is an achievement test. Please make sure that your student gets enough sleep each night and has breakfast daily. Our schedule will be affected all week because of the ITBS. We will not have math on Tuesday and Thursday of next week, so please be sure to use flash cards, eClass, and have just simply have students study their basic math facts.
