From the Principal's Desk...
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I want to thank you for your support of our faculty and staff as we received our second COVID vaccinations last week. For the first time since October of last year, we have our full faculty and staff back in school. I am confident that this will enable us to remain in person for the rest of this school year.
Mrs. Hochhausler, our school nurse, and I have been reviewing all of our protocols in light of the vaccination of the vast majority of our faculty and staff. As new information and understandings emerge, we will be considering making some changes to our student quarantine protocols. It is likely that these will go into effect after our Easter Break. It remains critically important that all of the precautions outside of school remain in place. Our quarantining of students has been the result of events beyond the school day. Thank you for your ongoing support.
We are quickly moving through our Lenten Season, and we are living in a time of great challenges and sacrifices. We are working to find new life together in the midst of this pandemic. This coming Sunday is the Fourth Sunday of Lent. In the Gospel (JN 3:16), we hear one of the most familiar statements in the Gospels. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.”
As we continue our journey toward Easter, may we look for ways to recognize God’s promise to us. May we work to help our daughters and sons see God’s promise of life all around us. It is my hope and prayer that we, like Christ, will rise from this pandemic to know more fully how much God loves us all.
Peace,
Dan Minelli
