Happy New Year!

I hope you each had a restful, but exciting break. It's time to get back in the swing of things with school starting back. We have three 4 day weeks in a row to start January, so plan ahead.

The past few years I have chosen a "Word of the Year," and I encourage each of you and your children to do the same to find a focus for the year. My word for 2023 is commitment- this commitment is to each of you, my family and all of the tasks that I will encounter as we take the journey into this year. I look forward to hearing from your kids about the word they have chosen.

We are just under the halfway mark of the school year so continue to work on reaching those goals you have set.

If your student is absent, please remember to send in a doctor's note or parent note within 3 days of your student returning to school. Excuses can be turned in to the front office or emailed to agrant@lexington1.net. (This includes half days.) Thank you!
