10U 1st Annual Virtual State Championship
DEADLINE!!! 1st Annual Alaska 10&U State Championship. We encourage all competitive 10&U swimmers to participate in this meet.
This will be a postal meet which means teams/areas across Alaska will run the meet in their own pool and submit results to be combined into one for scores/places.
The deadline to declare your intent for this meet will be November 28, 2018. We hope to see you there!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday, and are ready to get back into the swing of things. We have several meets and deadlines coming up, so please pay close attention to the deadlines for intent.
If you know that you are going to be out of town for Christmas, could you please let me know. This will help us with planning, thanks!!!

November 26th: Intent deadline for 10u State Championships
November 28th: Intent deadline for Candy Cane meet
December 1st: Robb Coady Meet/ Team Christmas Party immediately following Hamme pool
December 8th: Candy Cane Meet North Pole pool
December 11th: 10u State champs meet/ Patty Center pool
WE NEED OFFICALS!
Volunteering as a USA Swimming Meet Official is a great way to get involved with the sport, grow your knowledge of swimming, knock off your volunteer hours and give back to MSST.
The next New Meet Officials Training is
scheduled to begin on
Saturday, December 1st at 9:00 am
and run through the Robb Coady Novice Swimming meet at Hamme Pool.
An Official joins Alaska/USA Swimming as an apprentice who is trained and certified by our Northern Area Aquatics Committee.

2018 IMX Meet in Mesa, Arizona
Shout Out to Sam, Lillie, and Avery for representing MSST at the 2018 Pacific IMX meet in Mesa, Arizona last week! MSST is looking forward to attending this meet next year with even more participation! Set your sights on this meet and others by helping your swimmer set their seasonal goals. You can download goal sheets here or talk with your coach about laying out achievable goals this season.
About the 2018 IMX Meet: Participants must achieve an IMX Score of 1500 in a single season and have swum all required events within the qualifying period; September 1, 2017- October 22, 2018. Scores may be found on the swimmers' deck pass account.
This meet is open to any USA Swimming registered athlete in the following LSCs;
Alaska, Arizona, Central California, Colorado, Hawaii, Inland Empire, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Pacific, Pacific Northwest, San Diego Imperial, Sierra Nevada, Snake River, Southern California, Utah, Wyoming.
So much GRATITUDE for our coaching staff and wonderful volunteer parents and grandparents who put in so many hours to make the MSST Wishbone Meet a success! Many hands make light work and we worked great together this weekend!
