Kindergarten is counting their chickens…and watching them hatch!
Michelle Cagle has been visiting Mrs. Davidson’s class the past few weeks to help them learn about the life cycle of chickens, pheasants, and quail. Mrs. Cagle even brought an incubator with all those types of eggs for the students to observe. What a great learning experience for our little scientists!
Paging students to Dr. Cleghorn’s OR...STAT!
The surgeons entered into different “rooms” to visit previous standards. One room was used to cover up keywords in math problems with a bandaid and replace it with an operation. The next room was designed for a group of surgeons to have a meeting to ensure they had enough area and perimeter to hold all of their patients. The third room was for plastic shape surgery where the surgeons were given attributes of shapes their patients wanted and identify and draw the shape. The last room had a patient who needed blood and the surgeons had to calculate and measure the volume of blood needed to save their patient!
These 3rd grade students had a successful day in the operating room and preparing for their math test!
