This Season a Flu Vaccine is More Important than Ever (from the CDC)!
Getting a flu vaccine is more important than ever during 2020-2021 to protect yourself, your family and your community from flu. The CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older gets a flu vaccine. A flu vaccine this season can also help reduce the burden on our healthcare systems responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and save medical resources for care of COVID-19 patients. Wearing a mask, washing hands often, and getting a flu vaccine are three simple actions that everyone, especially people at higher risk of developing serious flu complications, should take to help reduce the spread of flu. September and October are good times to get a flu vaccine. Use the Vaccine Finder to find out where to get vaccinated near you.
The more people vaccinated; the more people protected. Do your part. Get a flu vaccine this fall.
