Getting Back to School!
8/19/2022
Dear Trumbauersville Families,
We are getting ready for all of the students! To that end, we are getting ready for some extra students... and we are setting up an additional third kindergarten classroom!
We look forward to seeing everyone at our Open House on Wednesday, 8/24. Since Kindergarten students have their own special orientation on Thursday, 8/25, the open house is primarily for students in grades 1-5 to be able to come in and see their rooms and drop off supplies.
Many staff members have been in and out of the school over the summer getting set for the new year. All staff will be back together on Wednesday to officially get the year underway!
It is with great anticipation and excitement that we are looking forward to seeing the students and families on Wednesday for the Open House, on Thursday for Kindergarten Orientation, and on Monday. 8/29 for the first day of school!
Kindly,
-Adam

Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
Dear Families:
If you are driving your child to or from school, enter the car parking lot and proceed to the student drop-off area. Please pull forward to the end of the drop-off area so that cars behind you can also move into the area.
During morning drop-off, when your child is safely on the sidewalk, please pull forward and leave the drop-off area. A problem develops when parents sit in their cars and wait until the child enters the building. If you choose to watch your child enter the building, you will need to move from the drop-off area and park your vehicle.
Do not park or leave your vehicle running in the drop-off area (even for a short time) because it creates a backlog of cars that need to circulate through the loop. If you need to come into the building, even for a few moments, please park your car in the lot.
Children should exit the vehicle from the passenger/curbside. This will help to keep the through lane clear and the children safe.
Student arrival time ends at 9:20 AM so there is a 15-minute window of time from 9:05 to 9:20 for students to be dropped off. If your child arrives after the bell rings for classes to start, they should stop in the office for a tardy slip.
Hopefully, with everyone’s cooperation, we can keep the flow of parking lot traffic moving safely.
Entering the Building for Morning Arrival
So that traffic keeps following and does not back up Woodview Dr, we are requesting that you turn right at the stop sign when leaving the parking lot. Thank you for your cooperation.
Do you plan on picking up your child at the end of the day?
We are requesting that you make the office aware of your transportation needs as soon as possible to be ready for the first day of school.
If you are picking up your student every day for the entire 2022-2023 school year, please email Mrs. Lucabeche at klucabeche@qcsd.org and make this request in writing. The email should say something like:
“Dear office staff, I am going to be doing parent pick for the entire 2022-2023 school year, please put -insert student name- on the parent pick up list for daily parent transportation”
The office will add your student (s) name to the parent pick-up list. Please note that if this should change at any time, you are responsible to contacting the school office to make new arrangements.
If you are picking up your students randomly throughout the school year, please email the office the day of the pick-up request. If you get a reply back from the school office, you can be assured that your student (s) will be on the parent pick-up list. If you do not receive a reply from the school office, please call the office at 215.529.2550 to ensure that we get your transportation request. Please do not leave voicemails with transportation changes, continue to call the office until you reach a person that can help you.
Car Rider Tags/Link to Dismissal Procedure for your reference
If you are a new student, please print a temporary car tag for your window for the first day your student comes to school. Previous Trumbauersville students will use their car rider tags from last year. If you require new tags, please reach out to the office. New students will get 2 car rider tags on their first day of school. This will replace the temporary tag that you printed for the first day which will no longer be accepted as an official pick-up tag.
Parents can either use the drop-off/pick-up circle for dismissal or if you chose, you can park and walk up to the cafe doors and wait outside under the pavilion for your student.
