Keep in mind, students can make-up credit they have failed during the school year or earn credit for a course they are trying to get ahead in. Acceleration of credit is only available in non-EOC courses. Summer School is from June 12--July 27. Online registration closes at noon on June 6th. See your child's counselor for more information.
Please note: students are not allowed to move on in English courses without earning credit in the previous course. Algebra 1 credit must be earned before moving on to the next math course. For example, If your student failed Algebra 1 this year, they must either take it in summer school or repeat it next school year.

AVID SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK
Michelle Jacques teaches 10th -12th grade math here at BHS. She attended Hill College, Tarrant County College, and then The University of Texas at Arlington majoring in biology with a minor in mathematics and is currently working on her Master's degree in math. Ms. Jacques favorite college memory was helping the freshmen dissect a cat in zoology lab! When asked, “What skills did you learn in college that you have applied to your personal and professional life?” She replied, “Meeting deadlines and having a strong work ethic.” When asked, “What advice would you offer to students who are looking to pursue an education after high school?” Ms. Jacques said, “Never miss class because you will ALWAYS miss something important. Get it right the first time because rarely are there second chances!”

All lost and found items are on a clothes rack in the front office for students to claim. All items not claimed will be donated at the end of the school year.
