Captain's Log 5.3.2020
Newsletter for the Lansing Elementary school staff
May 3, 2020
Please take the time to reach each Captain's Log carefully as there is a lot of information jam-packed in the next three weeks, as we not only continue to navigate our continuous learning plans, but also begin the process of closing the building.
There is a sign-up genius to sign up to come into the building to start working on your rooms. We will have sacks available to start packing student items. These will need to be labeled and alphabetized. There will be a new sign up each week and as restrictions of 10 or less in the building open up, we will adjust accordingly.
Happy National Teacher's Appreciation Week! Look for special appreciation information on Friday, May 8, 2020. Thank you for everything you do every.single.day to support our students, their parents, and your teams! We could not have done such a wonderful job with our continuous learning plans without the excellent communication and collaboration.
I am filled with hope this week as we start to see some of the restrictions lifted to move toward some normalcy. Everyone hopes we can continue with that forward trajectory, but if we can't, I know we will adjust and adapt.
You are so appreciated and I feel fortunate to be on your team!
Dr. Mindy Wells
Assistant Principal @ Lansing Elementary School
