Last Year's Scores and PEP's
We will have individual student reports by the end of the week to send home with children. This is taking more time because students have transitioned and moved over the summer. Once we know how the students we have THIS year did on last year's test, It will be necessary to do PEP's for students with 1's and 2's, if you have not already done one. Remember: PEP's are for any student at risk. If you have a student not performing well in your classroom, please fill out a PEP to document the extra support you are giving and invite the parent in to discuss and sign. If you cannot get the parent in, please document at least two attempts on the PEP. You can do a phone conference. You will need to document this on the PEP, also. If you have a student that has behaviors which need to be addressed, they also need a PEP. See the appropriate counselor for interventions and support.
Please spend time in PLC's discussing and sharing what you understand from this data and discuss what you believe is working, what needs to be addressed/changed, and what questions you still have now that you know the specific children's scores that you taught all year. I will be monitoring the Collaborative folder for your thoughts and questions, so please be specific.
