PTA Board Election Information

Serving on the Friends of Penngrove PTA (FOPPTA) board is an amazing experience! You get to work with a wonderful group of parents, make decisions that truly affect Penngrove Elementary and learn about a national nonprofit organization. You can submit a nomination for yourself or a recommendation for another individual.

Important Dates:

  • January 31st: Nomination forms due via Google Form at

  • February 24th: Nomination committee report at 8:45 a.m. Association meeting in the Multi

  • April 13th: Board elections at 6:00 p.m. Association meeting in Room 3

Mathnasium Family Fun Night 1/22

Penngrove Preview Night

All prospective new families are welcome to attend our Penngrove Preview Night on Thursday, January 23rd from 6:00-7:00pm in Room 3. Come hear TK/K teachers, parents, and our principal share reasons why Penngrove might just be the perfect fit for your family!

If you do not plan to attend a school tour or our preview night, please stop by our office to pick up a registration packet.


The PTA is accepting nominations for Honorary Service Awards for the 2019/2020 school year. Three awards will be presented to different individuals at Penngrove School during an assembly in March. These awards can be presented to a staff member, community volunteer, local business or organization.

· The Honorary Service Award is given to recognize an individual or organization for outstanding service to children and youth in our community, going above and beyond what is asked of them.

· The Continuing Service Award is given to recognize an individual or organization for ongoing or long-time service to children and youth, providing support year after year.

· The Golden Oak Award is given to recognize, as the most prestigious of the Honorary Service Awards, an individual or organization that has made significant contributions to the welfare of children and youth in our school community.

If you would like to recommend someone who fits into one of the categories above, please use this form to submit your nomination(s) to the committee. Nominations are due by Monday February 3rd, 2020

Jewelry Making with Julia Anthony

Julia Anthony has been making and selling her handmade jewelry for over 25 years. She has taught jewelry making to children throughout Sonoma and Marin counties for the past 12 years. Julia would love to share her passion for jewelry making with your child.
