Creating the inside covers:
Using photoshop to create the inside covers:
Inside covers:
For the inside covers, I didn't want to use the simple technique like the front and back cover. This is where I wanted more colour to come in. Mostly because our music video is indulged with colour and fun.
CD template:
I used another CD template, which I then painted it the same colour as my album cover.
Placing images:
I went though my images, and placed the picture that I wanted.
Positioning the image:
I scaled the image, as well as positioned it in the right place
Adjusting skin tone:
I had to adjust the skin tone, and brightness as well as contras. So it didn't look too dark. As well as doing that, I used the magic wand tool again, as I deleted the background.
Effects:
On the effects section, I used a light pink/ yellow effect filter. I didn't want my inside cover to be plain, so by having that effect. it made it look lively and fun.
Positioning the CD:
I used the shapes, such as a circle to make a CD outline, I then placed the name of the artist and name of the album on the CD. I also changed the colouring os it does't look as bright.
(Final inside cover)
Final inside of the album:
This is different to the front and back album cover, in terms of the colour used. However the font of the artist and album name is the same. I wanted the inside to be more colourful, as it's illustrated in our music video. It almost looks like smoke, which is a prop used in our music video.
