In an era where sexual harassment is being discussed continually via the news, or social media it's important to teach our young people the right way of relating to one another.
Middle school can be a time of confusion and not really knowing how to properly relate to peers of the same age.
This mandated 7th grade lesson was created to help students navigate the world of relationships. How to properly communicate feelings of "like" and to help them understand the difference between "flirting" vs. "hurting". Flirting is a good way to show interest in a person while hurting is unwelcome, unwanted attention that is sexual in nature.
