"Overcoming Mediocrity & Redefining Excellence"

Message From: Ms. Tamika Stewart, Principal

Dear New Hope Families,

I am pleased to announce that moving forward we will send all communications via email! As a school of Science, TECHNOLOGY, Engineering, Arts, & Math, it is imperative that we begin maximizing our communication using technology as our primary medium.

Your partnership is the main artery and it is my mission to ensure that we bridge any gaps in communication in order to ensure we are all have a clear understanding of the mission, vision, and collective responsibilities needed to achieve our school-wide goals.

Mini S.T.E.A.M. Fair

The foundation of a high-quality S.T.E.A.M. program is an excellent math and science curriculum that integrates literacy, including digital literacy, and other core areas as appropriate. In high-quality science programs teachers use inquiry-based methodologies and hands-on investigations to support student understanding of important scientific concepts. Students learn to see themselves as scientists and have adequate time and resources to conduct meaningful investigations.

Book Fairs help our scholars stock up on resources to enrich your children's education. Best of all, each Fair provides scholars access to more books. More books means more choice, which means scholars get to read the books they want to read. The right book can ignite a passion for reading, so at New Hope we encourage families to work together to create a reading culture at home. Reading expands the mind, nourishes the imagination, and opens a world of possible.
