Message from Administration

Dear Tuscany Heights Elementary Parents,

We had a great week back with the students!

Starting off with safety, our numbers are growing with early drop offs. I truly understand the morning traffic in our area as I am a parent with two little ones traveling early as well. The construction on Hwy 281 isn't helping matters with our traffic; however, I encourage you to please adjust your schedule as needed to ensure that drop off happens after 7:00am. We have staff on duty and students are monitored beginning at 7:00a.m. Prior to this time, we do not have anyone on duty to monitor the students arriving prior to 7:00a.m. This is not a change in practice. Our staff has always started at 7:00a.m/7:15a.m. I have reached out to NEISD Police as I am concerned with the large number of students unsupervised here on campus early in the mornings. Please take some time to think about any adjustments that can be made to ensure your child is dropped off after 7:00a.m. At 6:50a.m, the foyer is open, but there are still no staff members on duty until 7:00a.m. Thank you for helping us with this matter.

Come see our 3rd graders perform Tuesday, December 5th at our PTA Meeting. They've been working hard! As always, we love having our families here on campus to see the great things happening by our student leaders.

We also have Winter Parties this month on the 22nd. We will get the schedule posted in "Upcoming Events" soon.

This is a joyous time of year, as well as a very busy time of year for all. We hope that you and your family will help us make this a great end to a wonderful first semester.

Our students are working hard and making great gains in their data. Don't forget to ask them about their goals.

In an effort to continue using our staff, students, and community to help us make Tuscany Heights a great place, we have added a "Community Feedback" Box to the front office. We would love a positive and a note of improvement if you have time to share your feedback. Our Campus Improvement Committee (parents, staff, community members, district representatives) will work together to help control, influence, and/or accept the items brought to our attention.

Thank you in advance for your support!

PTA General Meeting- Tuesday, December 5th @ 6:30pm

Toy Drive – Please donate toys till December 8th. This is a great way for all of us to synergize and help out the kids at our Partners in PTA school. Please turn in new, unwrapped toys to our collection box in the entryway foyer. Appropriate gifts should be for the elementary school age, for boys or girls. Some examples- Barbies, hot wheels, dolls, trucks, Barbie/doll clothes, sports balls, stuffed animals and board games. We know that anything from the heart will be a wonderful treat for these sweet kids. Thanks so much for helping us with this fun drive!

Check out THE's LOST and FOUND! We have MANY items waiting to be claimed. Please help us find their homes. At the end of the semester, all unclaimed items will be donated.

Also, please label your child's clothing and other items so if they find their way to the LOST and FOUND, we can try to get them back to you. Thank you!!!
