Happy New Year edition (January 2016)
Reading with the Gamecocks!
It's that time of year again to celebrate our "3-Peat" as the State winners of Part One of the USC Reading with the Gamecocks literacy program. All students who read in October 2015 and turned in a reading log will receive tickets to attend a ticket for admission of one child and an adult to a designated Men or Women's Basketball game in January 2016.
Join us on January 10, 2016 (2 p.m.) at the U.S.C. versus the University of Missouri and watch as Cocky gives us another winning plaque. The top readers from each grade level will join me to receive the plaque during halftime. Come and applaud our achievement!!

Heaps Reading Nook Dedication Ceremony
On June 2, 2014, a ceremony was held in memory of Melissa Heaps. She loved the library, sharing the joy of reading with children and Skippyjon Jones, her favorite character with everyone. The Heaps Reading Nook video shows that it will be a place for children to continue their love of reading...just what Melissa would have wanted for all!
