LVHS Valkyries

Lago Vista is excited to have our first drill team this year. They have worked hard this week to prepare for their upcoming performances at football games.

Viking Band

Band has put in the work this week to prepare for marching season. They have spent hours in the sun this week to entertain our crowds during half-time.

Viking Tours

Does your student want to tour the school before the first day? Please join us for Viking Tours! LVHS faculty will be available to show you around or answer any questions you have.

Unofficial schedules should be available on August 9, in Ascender for students who have an account set up. They can also pick up their schedules during the Viking Tour.

First Day of School

The first day of school is Thursday, August 12. Doors will open at 7:45 and class starts at 8:00 AM. Thursday will be an "A" day and Friday will be a "B" day. As students arrive they will receive their official schedules. Students should follow the gold schedule that they receive that morning.


We look forward to seeing all of you on the first day!

Covid Protocols

Lago Vista ISD plans to return to in-person learning for the 2021-2022 school year. The district is assessing the current conditions and will provide information on Covid protocols for this school year. As information comes available, the district will share it on the website. It will also be included here in the LVHS newsletter.

Bus Assignments and Routes

The transportation website is a great resource for any transportation related questions. You can access the Bus Rider Code of Conduct, find contact information, and lookup bus routes on this site.


You will need your student's ID number to access their route. If you do not know their ID number please call the high school at 512-267-8300 ext. 5500.

iPad Distribution

Lago Vista High School students are receiving new iPads this year with keyboards! IPad distribution is scheduled for the week of August 16.

Homecoming

Lago Vista Homecoming will be Friday, October 1, 2021. The Vikings will take on LASA Austin. Kick-off will be at 7:30.
