Vegetable Garden Ministry
Winter newsletter- as needed
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Planting begins in February
Weather permitting we will begin planting in the first weeks of February. Red potatoes and onions will be the first in the ground! Expect some different plants this year compared to previous years. We won't be planting squash varieties (because of the bugs).
Our garden is.....green?
Have you noticed the garden is green despite the cooler temps and wintery weather? Bill C. planted ryegrass for us. This will increase the nitrogen in the soil helping to achieve a better balance for the Spring.
Dill
There are dill plants growing along the West fence, nearest the garden storage buildings. If you would like some, help yourself!
