AMAZING Open House! Thank you, Central Families!
Our open house this week was VERY well attended and our staff was so thrilled to see such great response! It was so wonderful to see the students so proud of their learning and their school.
Thank you to our School Council! This group of incredible parents provided a table for hot chocolate and apple cider, as well as delicious treats for our families. The fundraiser raised almost $300, which will go towards purchasing new kitchen equipment for hot lunches. Yay! Thank you to so many of you who brought cookies for the bake sale! This kind of support makes Central even better for all of our kids!
Thank you, Mrs. Petherbridge - the Book Fair is a HUGE HIT!
Our biggest and best year yet - the Scholastic Book Fair was a HUGE success - thanks to you! Mrs. P has added our totals up and our book fair took in over $5000, which means big savings for additional books for our classrooms. Each classroom will get over $100 of books free for their space. This is AMAZING!
Thank you, Mrs. Pethberbridge - you do so much for our students and families at Central!
Thank you for supporting Central School!

Many of you have already completed this Horizon Assurance Survey, so do not need to do this again. If you did not fill out the survey at our Open House (Mr. Pon was helping people complete this), then please take a moment to complete it by pressing the link below. This information helps our staff know what is going well and where we need to improve. Thank you!
FCSS Tips
Positive Parenting Tip #3
Creating a positive learning environment – one of Triple P’s five steps to positive parenting – helps ensure your child becomes a confident little person, capable of making friends, and doing their best at school and in later life. It starts with everyday things, like paying attention when your child comes up to you with a question, offering them hugs and kisses, and acknowledging the importance of what they are learning.
