What is Silicon?
Silicon is a semiconducting non-metal properties. It is used to make electronic circuits such as the ones used in your house. You can find pure silicon in a shiny dark crystalline form. Pure silicon can be used amorphous powder.
Where is it found?
Silicon is not a every day seeing thing. It's not free in nature, but does occur in chiefly in oxide.Granite, hornblende, asbestos, feldspar, clay,and mica are some silicate materials.
Who found Silicon?
Jöns Jacob Berzelius, a Swedish scientist, found the element Silicon 1824 by heating up some chips of potassium in a silicate container. Silicon is the 7th most abundant element in the galaxy, which is pretty uprisings. It also has may other interesting facts.
