Also as a reminder, there will be no school on Thursday, October 8th, Friday, October 9th, or Monday, October 12th!

Most sincerely,

Parent's Corner

Hello Jefferson families!

Thank you for taking the time to complete our survey! We are here to help you! Many of you had questions about assignments and grades as well as how to get help with technology issues. Below you will find links to videos that will teach you how to navigate Google Classroom and PowerSchool which will make it easier to keep up with assignments and grades. It is important to know that Google Classroom is the best way to find out if your child has turned in their assignments and what their grade is on each assignment. Not all assignments posted in Google Classroom go into PowerSchool so that would be more helpful to check at the middle or end of each quarter to find out mid/final grades. Also included is a link to the Tech Live Zoom to help you with any of your technical issues. You can call Jefferson School directly and be connected to the tech department as well.

Art Room News...

It's InkTober!!!

This means that Jefferson students will be participating in a world-wide art challenge that occurs in October. The idea is to draw a picture each day based on the prompt words in order to help students improve their drawing skills and realize how much fun drawing can be! Each class was assigned two prompt words but students are able to complete the entire 31-day challenge if they would like. You can join in on the fun at home too by following the prompt list and drawing a picture each day!

Happy Drawing,

Ms. Ryan
