Elementary Report Card Revisions . . .

As you know, one goal of the Central Bucks School District is to revise our current elementary reporting tools. As we work to finalize our new reporting system, we want to continue to offer resources to help facilitate the transition to the “new” report card, and explain the rationale and some insight to the work that has been done thus far.

With that being said, we invite you to attend one of our three cluster meetings. District clusters include all elementary schools affiliated with each high school attendance area. In each one-hour meeting, we will define the goals of a standards-based reporting system by highlighting the characteristics that enhance our educational programming for elementary school children. Mark your calendar for Monday, April 28th at 7:00 PM. Central Bucks staff will make a presentation to “Future CB South” parents at Titus Elementary School. For more information please click here.

Student Advisory Committee . . .

We figured since the Titus Student Advisory Committe has become such a "regular" part of who we are at Titus - assisting with the opening of the school store, spirit days, pictures for the Times and even helping at Home and School Family Fun Events - they deserve a little face time too. Thank you for all you do for Titus students, families & teachers!

Note: Mrs. Meehan is absent from picture below.

PSSA Parent Information . . .

Central Bucks is proud of the achievement of our students, and would like to ensure we are giving parents the most current information available regarding testing. As the testing window approaches in March, please take the time to visit our web page and click on the link "PSSA Information for Parents" This page provides links to assessment results and to information about some of the assessments administered to students across the district.

Buddies Make Everything Better

Miss Yorczyk's first graders and their fourth grade buddies from Mrs. London's class met in celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday for a fun activity of creating a new Dr. Seuss character and writing a short story about it. Their stories are displayed in the first grade hallway so check them out next time you are in the building!

Book Swap - A HUGE Success . . .

Our second annual “Titus Book Swap” was a HUGE success! We collected over 1500 books to exchange this year. The students all brought home between 2-3 new titles to enjoy at home! In addition to our book exchange, we also raised close to $500.00 for our Summer Reading Program. We are so proud to be part of such a generous community. Our students are very lucky! Thank you again for supporting the reading program here at Titus.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Mrs. Nero’s students enjoyed some green eggs courtesy of the Cat in the Hat (Mrs. Monteleone – Mrs. Nero’s mother-in-law). The students enjoyed the treat, almost as much as they enjoyed their special guest!
