Here you will find a variety of things to explore, many book related and some not. I hope these activities will inspire you to keep reading, learning, and growing! Virtually visit some of the best art galleries, aquariums, museums, and zoos, around the world . There are also lesson ideas, activities and book suggestions to extend the learning for each type of destination.
Play vocabulary games and for each answer you get right, the sponsors send the cash equivalent of 10 grains of rice to the World Food Program, who use it to save and change lives.
Find activities, jokes and games, explore, share and listen to kid podcasts.

Summer Reading with Tom Cox
Beginning May 4 and ending September 4, students of all ages can join Scholastic's Read-A-Palooza. The program has been customized for these times. This program is free and redesigned from previous years to allow families to participate, independent of school. The Read-A-Palooza is located in a safe, online community where you can read books and log your time, enjoy some fun activities, and help earn books for communities in need.
