Butt Fundraiser Update

Thanks to all those who participated in the Butt Fundraiser that has just concluded. We sold a total of 51 Butts, which translates to $867 for the soccer programs. The Boys led the way with 32 sold, while the Girls sold 19. The money raised comes directly to the soccer teams and is used for equipment, uniforms and Senior Nights. Thanks again, and if anyone has ideas for additional fundraisers in the future, please let Coach Sullivan know.

NOGA Scholar Athletes

The NC High School Athletic Association recognizes individual students and teams as Scholar Athletes. The criteria to be included is a 3.5 weighted GPA or better for the student and the team's weighted GPA must be 3.1 or better.

The fall sports teams were recently named and we are proud to announce that the North Gaston Boys Soccer team had 15 of the 18 players exceed the 3.5 GPA making them NCHSAA Scholar Athletes and the team had an overall GPA of 3.471, naming them a Scholar Athlete Team! Could not be prouder of the guys, keep up the good work.

Congratulations to all our girls scholar athletes and their teams - volleyball, golf, tennis, basketball, cheerleading, cross country and swimming - who all exceeded the 3.1 team GPA. Our teams are made up of many of the best and brightest that North Gaston has to offer.
