First Full Week!

It's September!
I hope you had a lovely weekend. I am looking forward to the first full week (hopefully a little cooler) with your children. Last week we had our first all school assembly. Students had the chance to learn about new staff, our newly adjusted TRRFCC tickets, and sang our school song.
Each week you will see me share about our TRRFCC Ticket Winners. These are students who earned a ticket from a Killam staff member during the week, put it in our Koala box, and were pulled to earn an infamous koala keychain and bragging rights for being super respectful, responsible, etc.
TRRFCC stands for trustworthy, respectful, responsible, fair, caring, citizens- values we encourage not only in school, but out as well.
Our goal is for every student to be selected by the end of the year and for you to check in with your student each week to hear if they earned any tickets and/or were pulled to win Friday! You can see what an example ticket looks like below.
Lastly, we have Back to School Night for grades K-5 this Thursday from 5:30-6:45 PM. Please see the schedule below..
Have a great week!
Mrs. Lindsey Fulton, Principal

Arrival & Dismissal
- All doors will open promptly at 8:15 AM
- Students not in car drop-off or on a bus should enter through their external classroom door. Door locations can be found on the map below.
- Staff will be holding signs up the first week of school at their doors. Staff will also be available to help at all locations outside.
- Students arriving after 8:25 AM will have to enter through the front door and will be marked late.
- The car drop-off lane is the same as before (for now). Please wait on Charles Street until 8:15 AM. We ask that all parents/guardians remain in the car, pull up ALL the way, and exit right onto Charles Street. Our goal is to make the process run more smoothly each week!
- A video will be shared with more details before Wednesday!
DISMISSAL:
- The dismissal process will begin at 2:40 PM for buses and extended day. Students not on buses or at extended day should be picked up at their external doors noted on the map at 2:45 PM. Please coordinate with you child's teacher if your older child will walk to a younger siblings door. Staff will continue to monitor and assist the first few weeks.
