Year End Reminders From the Clinic
If your child has any prescription or non-prescription medication in the clinic, please pick it up before the end of school. Any medication that is not picked up will be disposed of at the end of the day on June 1st.
When planning for the 2017-2018 school year, please remember that all prescription medication must be renewed by your physician each school year in order to be dispensed in the clinic. The SBISD forms are available in the clinic or can be downloaded from the SBISD/Health web site.
During the summer please check your child’s hair periodically for lice and especially the week before school starts. If you find live lice and/or nits (eggs), treatments are available at your pharmacy, grocery store or physician.
Have a safe and fun summer!

Dear Meadow Wood Families:
Our Meadow Wood PTA recently received this year’s SBISD Council of PTA’s Outstanding Elementary PTA award. This recognition is affirmation of this important school-parent-community partnership.
Educating our youth to thrive, succeed and lead in a rapidly changing world where the jobs of tomorrow do not yet exist remains our priority.
We are privileged to serve in a community that understands the challenge and is willing to stand with us to meet it.
We are privileged that as parents/guardians you not only trust us with your children, but also volunteer your time, talents, and resources to make MWE not only a school, but a haven for friendship, learning, and growth.
We are privileged to work with teachers and staff who truly take our children into their hearts and treat them as their own, while diligently working to achieve our mission.
We are privileged to be in a district where innovation is encouraged and supported, and where our core values affirm that Every Child is best served when we leverage our Collective Greatness and Collaborative Spirit.
As we continue on this journey, we know one thing will remain the same – together, we will continue to make Meadow Wood a unique, amazing, and incredible place for our children.
Congratulations, MWE PTA!!
Every child – every day – soaring to greatness!
