Star Gazing...
Congratulations to Monica Baldini , star Teacher 4th Grade Teacher...our STAR Teacher of the Week receiving the most nominations! You are entitled to a week long jeans pass and designated parking!
Her colleagues write:
- Always here, working hard! She really cares for her students and is warm and friendly with them.
- I want her energy!
- There is so much mutual respect in her classroom. You can see and hear it in the way they walk down the halls, the classroom environment, and other areas of the school. It's very positive!
- She is doing such a great job leading our team this year! She is an amazing person!
- Screaming Rice! Also, I love how she leads 4th grade so well in so many engaging activities. Today they did an incredible hands-on experiment with dry ice demonstrating sublimation. The kids went bonkers! oohs and awws! SO impressive, love it!
I absolutely enjoy getting to read all of the ToW nominations! Be sure to share your affirmation with your star nominee!
A BIG THANK YOU to our third, fourth, fifth and sped teachers for providing an additional opportunity for our parents to learn more about the rigors of STAAR on our Information Night! Your leadership, flexibility and hard work is so highly appreciated! Also to our Veteran's Day and 25th Anniversary Committees! Thank you so much for your hard work in preparation and planning! We are looking forward to these memorable events!
Ginormous APPRECIATIONS to Leslie Long for hosting Tech Thursdays! This week's topics included adding a Symbaloo to your websites and discovering additional cool features within Brainpop! What a great way to learn new ways to leverage technology to highly engage your students!
Thank each of you for another great week of teaching and learning!
Have a well deserved enjoyable weekend!
