Images You Can Use
My top 6 favorite image resources for school projects
Photos For Class
My favorite thing about Photos for Class is that they are self-citing! The citation downloads on the bottom of the image!
They scour Creative Commons images from Flickr and cite them for you. <3
Public Domain Pictures
Public Domain Pictures does not require a citation to use. However, your teacher may want you to note that on your work!
Pixabay
With Pixabay, you definitely need to check the right side of the image (just about the green Free Download button) to see what attribution (CITATION) is required.
Morguefile
Morguefile has a suggested citation format that is super easy! ( Suggested credit byline: Photo by <photographer's username> at Morguefile.com )
Pics4Learning
This cite is super user friendly with categories for navigation. The best thing about it is the "Save this image to Google Drive" feature! How great is that for our Google Classrooms?!?
AND the citations are copy/paste!
Open Clipart
Promoted by Tony Vincent during his October 2016 visit to our school, Open Clipart is a collection of Creative Commons images. In order to cite these images, you need the title of the work, the creator's name (or screen name), and link to the original image (often through the title). These images are used under license 1.0. The correct attribution of the image below would read:
"King Crab Remix" by Arvin61r58 is licensed under CC BY 1.0.
